Get your magic link

One of the most effective methods I've used to build my list is with ‘one-click email opt-ins’ - a partner would promote a webinar or email course of mine, and their subscribers can end up on my list with just a click. Love that SparkLoop has made this super easy to do.

We give an FAQ...

Can I use Magic Links with my email platform?
Plus icon

Probably, yes!

You can connect your Magic Link to any email platform. Including Mailchimp, ConvertKit, MailerLite, Campaign Monitor, Active Campaign, PostUp, Drip, SailThru, HubSpot and AWeber.

However your Magic Link can't be inserted into emails sent from some email platforms (like Substack and Revue) due to technical limitations in those platforms.

Is it really free? Why?
Plus icon

Yes, Magic Links are 100% free to use. We don't share any of your subscriber data with third parties (other than your email platform) or use it for advertising.

Why?

... because — if you're the kind of brand or publisher who gets even a little bit of value out of our free Magic Links tool — you'll also get A LOT of value out of our paid email referral tool, SparkLoop.

Instead of wasting money on annoying ads, we decided to spend it on building something you'd find valuable instead.

And — when the time comes — we'll be ready to help you grow 20-200% faster with the #1 email referral tool in the world.

How easy is it to create a Magic Link?
Plus icon

Creating a Magic Link is super, super easy. It takes literally two minutes and just a few clicks. No coding or complicated Zapier hacks necessary.

It's even easier for the newsletter operator who is including your Magic Link in their email. They just have to copy and paste the link where it's supposed to go. Job done!

How will my subscribers react to using a Magic Link?
Plus icon

If you're a newsletter operator and someone has asked you to include a Magic Link in your newsletter for the first time, it's natural to be cautious and a bit concerned.

After all, there's nothing more important than your subscribers' trust.

Luckily, there's nothing to worry about. As long as the context of the Magic Link in your email makes it obvious that anyone who clicks it will receive an email from a third party, your subscribers will only have good things to say about it.

After all, you're reducing friction and making life easier for them too!

Are there any legal concerns (eg GDPR)?
Plus icon

Firstly, our team aren't lawyers, and this isn't legal advice.

That said, we work closely with legal experts on questions of GDPR and email privacy law as part of our day to day business powering the largest newsletter referral programs in the world.

Our verdict: As long as the Magic Link clearly states what the subscriber is opting into, it'll be fine in most jurisdictions.

After all, a Magic Link is — in essence — just a double-opt-in signup without the first (less important) step.
